The CWEA Pretreatment, Pollution Prevention, and Stormwater (P3S) committee is proud to announce the next Toolbelt Training event on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. The Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County will be hosting the P3S committee and special guest speaker Professor Joseph Reichenberger PE BCEE of the Loyola Marymount University Department of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science. Professor Reichenberger has over 50 years of professional engineering experience in public and private practice in water, wastewater and recycled water systems, water and wastewater treatment, odor control and treatment facility hydraulics. As our featured speaker, Professor Reichenberger’s presentation will focus on stormwater management, stormwater pollutant control, stormwater capture and reuse, and elementary engineering economics for determining if a project is financially attractive. Find out more about Professor Reichenberger or LMU’s graduate/undergraduate program here. Be sure to bring your water related questions for the Professor and take advantage of this opportunity to speak with a pioneer in our field. Additionally, there will be tours of LACSD’s San Jose Creek (SJC) Wastewater Treatment Plant and Material Recovery Facility (MRF). Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be awarded for this event.
P3S will also be providing lunch and holding our bi-monthly P3S Community Business meeting. For registration information click here, use Password “P3SLACSD”.
